Dreamers and Immigrant Family Support Foundation (DAIFS) is committed to responsible stewardship of all charitable contributions. Donations received support our mission of assisting Dreamers, DACA recipients, immigrant families, and underserved communities through education, advocacy, resource navigation, and community assistance programs.
General Donation Policy
All donations made to DAIFS are voluntary and are used to support the organization’s charitable programs, operations, and mission-driven activities.
As a nonprofit organization, DAIFS generally considers donations to be final and non-refundable.
Refund Requests
DAIFS may consider refund requests under limited circumstances, including:

Duplicate donations made in error.

Incorrect donation amounts entered by the donor.

Unauthorized transactions reported by the donor.

Technical processing errors.
Requests for refunds must be submitted within 30 days of the donation date.

Refund Determination
Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
DAIFS reserves the right to approve or deny refund requests at its sole discretion, consistent with applicable laws and nonprofit best practices.
Event Registrations and Program Fees:
If DAIFS offers ticketed events, workshops, fundraising activities, or program-related fees in the future, any applicable refund terms will be disclosed at the time of registration.
Unless otherwise stated, event registrations and program fees are non-refundable.
Tax Deduction Considerations
If a refund is issued, the donor may no longer be eligible to claim the refunded amount as a charitable contribution for tax purposes. Donors should consult their tax advisor regarding individual tax situations.
